The characteristics of the standard, suite, superior rooms, the family residences and the apartments are all illustrated with photos and accompanied by information on our available services, with special offers and seasonal rates listed. Some of the accommodations are partly carved into the rock, while others have been built out of limestone. All are made with eco-friendly materials and powered by solar energy sources.

Flavors and tastes take tourists and travelers by the throat and through the dedicated page and guests are invited to try traditional sweet and savory breakfasts and aperitifs based on local food and wine. From piping hot Matera bread and extra virgin olive oil, to pressed/cured meats and cheeses – all locally produced.
Guests are also invited to pamper themselves at our wellness spa. Information on the Masseria’s spa and summer swimming pool can all be foundon our website. As soon as the spa is completed, there will be images and a more comprehensive description of the sauna, steam-room, emotional shower and our indoor pool which was carved out of limestone.
The events section gives information on our services and spaces for celebrations and events such as birthday or graduation parties, as well as business meetings. Small wedding ceremonies may be held in the little, deconsecrated church on the premises, with a “simulated rite”. Custom-designed experiences can be planned, while allowing guests to immerse themselves in the unique spirit of the Masseria and the city.
The city of Matera continues to amaze and enchant tourists and travelers. Guided tours to the town’s sites of historic, artistic and architectural interest may be booked at the reception area of the Masseria Santa Lucia. As visitors explore the Sassi, the oldest part of town, they can retrace the steps of the great directors of international cinema who have chosen Matera’s Sassi as the set for their blockbuster films.
